DCF Template - Serial Acquirer
Note:
Yellow highlighted cells denote values that need to be filled in by the person using this model, either by taking them from Financial Statements or estimating values using their best judgment.
The model templates provided make several assumptions about the price actions and cashflows from buybacks or dilution of the companies. It assumes that price appreciation year-to-year on a percentage basis will be constant. It assumes that any increased or reduction in the number of shares outstanding will be constant on a percentage basis each year. If there is any reason why this might not be the case for you, these values will need to be hardcoded.
Intrinsic Value is defined at the price that a potential shareholder could pay for a share today and still earn a return consistent with their Cost of Capital, assuming all other assumptions of the model remain consistent.
